best time
November to March; October and April bring a warm sea and hot days
highlights
Ras Al Khaimah is the UAE for those who want the sea and a hotel holiday rather than a big city. Families with children, couples and people tired of the hustle choose it for its long beaches, quiet atmosphere and resort complexes with several restaurants.
Many hotels here are all-inclusive, which makes budgeting easy: you know your food costs in advance. We explain how to compare meal plans in our guide on what all-inclusive means. If you want evening walks along promenades and trips to malls, consider Dubai or a combined itinerary.
As across the Emirates, the best time is November to March. Days are warm, the sea is calm, and you can walk on Jebel Jais without the heat. It is a good choice for a winter beach holiday; for other destinations, see our list of where to go for a winter beach break.
October and April are shoulder months: hot days and very warm water. Summer temperatures are high and holidays are spent mostly by the pool and indoors, but hotels are noticeably more affordable then.
Al Marjan Island. Man-made islands with resort hotels, beaches and views of the Gulf. The emirate’s main resort area.
Al Hamra. A resort district with hotels, a golf course, a marina and a mall. Convenient if you want some city amenities nearby.
Al Mairid beach area. Hotels along a long stretch of beach, quiet and spacious.
Ras Al Khaimah city. City hotels closer to the markets and old quarters, but you will need to drive to the resort beaches.
The highest mountain in the UAE. A winding road with viewpoints leads to the top. The mountain has one of the longest ziplines in the world, walking trails and a restaurant with a view. Even in summer it is cooler here than by the sea.
Dhayah Fort on a hill overlooking date groves and mountains. The National Museum in an old fort. The abandoned village of Al Jazirat Al Hamra with houses built from coral stone is an atmospheric spot for photos.
Kayaking in the mangroves, a desert safari on red sand and boat trips along the coast. The water park at one of the resort complexes is also open to guests of other hotels.
A day in Dubai with the Burj Khalifa and the malls. A trip to the fjords of Musandam in neighbouring Oman is a popular excursion, but it requires separate border formalities, which our manager will confirm.
Usually 6–9 nights. A week by the sea with one trip to the mountains and one to Dubai is a comfortable pace. You can also split the holiday: a few nights in Ras Al Khaimah and a few in Dubai or Abu Dhabi.
Spend the first three days at the beach and pool to recover from the journey. On day four, head up Jebel Jais: the mountain road and viewpoints in the morning, the zipline or a walk in the afternoon. Day five: kayaking in the mangroves or Dhayah Fort. Day six: a trip to Dubai for the views and shopping. Spend the last day by the sea again. This way you see the mountains, the desert and the city without losing the resort feel.
Flights from Tashkent: our manager will find direct and connecting options, most often landing in Dubai with a transfer. Citizens of Uzbekistan need a UAE visa, which is arranged before departure.
Check carefully what your hotel’s all-inclusive covers: drinks, restaurants and beach services. Hotels are spread along the coast, so getting anywhere is awkward without a transfer or taxi. It is cool up in the mountains, especially in winter.
Rules are given as of October 2026 and may change: check with our manager or the official embassy website before you travel.
Tell us how many of you are travelling, your dates and the meal plan you need. Send a request, message us on Telegram @GlobalDestination1 or call +998 99 760-82-88: our manager will find a hotel in Ras Al Khaimah, flights and a UAE visa to fit your budget.

It is a resort emirate without a big city: hotels stand by the sea in quiet surroundings. Many hotels offer all-inclusive, which is rare in Dubai.
Usually about an hour or a little more, depending on the area and traffic. A day trip to Dubai is easy to fit into your plans.
Yes, it is one of the most family-friendly options in the UAE: gently sloping beaches and hotels with kids' clubs and pools. There is less to do outside the hotel than in Dubai, so choose a hotel with good facilities.
In January and February evenings can be fresh, and on Jebel Jais the temperature is noticeably lower than on the coast. Bring a sweater and closed shoes for the mountain trip.

The Emirates offer a short flight, a warm sea in winter, shopping and city entertainment. Ideal for a 5–7 day trip at any time from autumn to spring.

A city where you can lie on the beach in the morning, browse the malls in the afternoon and go up the Burj Khalifa at night. One of the most popular winter choices for travellers from Uzbekistan.

The Emirati capital is calmer than Dubai: wide beaches, world-class museums and Yas Island with its theme parks. A good pick for families and anyone who prefers a slower pace.

All-inclusive is the most popular meal plan for beach holidays, but it means different things at different hotels. Here's what's usually included and how to choose well.

Winter in Tashkent is cold, yet many countries are at the peak of their beach season. We compare destinations by sea temperature, travel time and holiday style.

The Emirates never have bad weather for the beach, but there are months when walking around outside is almost impossible. Here is how to choose your dates for the beach, shopping and sightseeing.
