Incentive Travel in Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan offers incentive groups something few destinations can: Silk Road cities, a sense of discovery and settings that feel exclusive. We design and operate incentive programs for companies and event agencies.

highlights

  1. ISettings that surprise: madrasa courtyards, old-town squares, desert camps
  2. IITeam activities built around crafts, cooking and culture
  3. IIIMeeting or conference sessions can be included in the program
  4. IVCompact routes with efficient high-speed train connections
  5. VProcess: request, brief, program and quote, confirmation

An incentive trip should feel like a reward that participants could not easily plan themselves. Uzbekistan delivers that: turquoise domes, lively bazaars, warm hospitality and the stories of the Silk Road. It is also practical, with a compact core route and modern high-speed trains between the main cities.

Why Uzbekistan works for incentives

  • Novelty: most participants have never been and will not have seen the same images on every social feed.
  • Compact geography: Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara are linked by fast trains, so a short program still covers a lot.
  • Spectacular settings: madrasa courtyards, old-town squares, caravanserais and desert landscapes.
  • Hospitality: Uzbek culture is built around welcoming guests, which suits group events.
  • Safety: a calm, orderly destination with visible security in tourist areas.

A sample program in five days

  • Day 1, Tashkent: arrival, welcome dinner, an evening walk through the old city or the decorated metro stations.
  • Day 2, Samarkand: morning high-speed train, the Registan and Gur-e-Amir, an evening event.
  • Day 3, Samarkand: Shah-i-Zinda, a paper-making workshop, team activity, gala dinner.
  • Day 4, Bukhara: train to Bukhara, old-town walk, craft workshops, dinner in a historic setting.
  • Day 5, Bukhara: free morning in the bazaars, departure via Tashkent or directly where flight options allow.

See Samarkand and Bukhara for more on each city. The program can be shortened or extended with Khiva, a desert yurt camp or a mountain day near Tashkent.

Team activities

  • Plov masterclass: teams cook in large kazans with a master chef, then share the meal. See our plov guide.
  • Craft challenges: painting ceramics, embroidery, making silk paper or block printing on fabric.
  • Bazaar quests: teams complete tasks in the market with a guide’s help.
  • Cultural evenings: music, dance and costume, in a setting appropriate to the group.
  • Desert experience: camel rides, a campfire dinner and a night under the stars at a yurt camp.

Venues and events

We look for settings that match the group’s size and the client’s goals: hotels with ballrooms, restaurants with courtyards, terraces with views over domes. Some historic venues can host events by arrangement; access depends on permissions, availability and site rules, which we check at the brief stage and confirm in writing before including them.

Meetings

If the trip includes a business element, hotels in Tashkent and Samarkand offer meeting rooms and equipment. We schedule sessions so they do not clash with the best sightseeing hours.

Logistics for larger groups

  • Train seat blocks requested as early as possible.
  • Coaches, transfers and luggage handling coordinated between cities.
  • Hotel allocations planned with attention to room categories and VIP rooms.
  • Branded materials, welcome kits and signage handled with your agency or client.
  • Dietary requirements and accessibility needs collected at the brief stage.

How to request an incentive program

Send us:

  • your company or agency name and source market;
  • the purpose of the trip and the profile of participants;
  • approximate number of participants and dates;
  • program requirements: duration, hotel category, events, meetings, activities;
  • any budget framework or priorities you want us to work within.

We follow our usual process: brief, program and quote, confirmation. Commercial terms are agreed individually for each project. The steps are explained in how we build a tailor-made program.

FAQ

Why choose Uzbekistan for an incentive trip?

It is new to most participants, safe and welcoming, and visually spectacular. The main cities are close enough to see a lot in a short program.

How long should an incentive program be?

Four to six days covers Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara comfortably. Shorter programs can focus on Samarkand alone; longer ones can add Khiva or a desert camp.

Can you organise private events in historic venues?

Events in historic settings are possible in some cases, subject to permissions, availability and rules set by the site. We check options at the brief stage.

Can the program include business sessions?

Yes. Hotels in Tashkent and Samarkand have meeting facilities, and sessions can be built into the schedule alongside sightseeing and activities.
